Boating with Grannie and Pa

We went boating last weekend with Fran, Todd, Austen, Katie (Nixon), and Al. We had so much fun. The weather was perfect! Abby decided to try wake boarding with her dad. At first she was really excited, then when she realized what it would entail it was too late, but she did great, and only shed a few tears (because her band aid came off).

Back Yard Fun!!

It has been so nice staying with my parents for the summer! They have this beautiful backyard that the girls absolutely love. It is so nice not to have to go to a park, we can just walk out the back door and enjoy!

MOAB

Since we were already in Moab for Shay and Misty's wedding we decided to do some hiking and see some sights. It is really sad, Levi and I have lived in Utah our whole lives and have never taken the time to see Arches or Dead Horse Point. So we along with Brett and Michelle were determined to see as much as we could before we had to head back to real life and kids. We had such a fun time. We hiked to Delicate Arch (this is the arch that is on the Utah licence plates). It was so beautiful. I couldn't believe how big it was!! Then we made it to a few more sights before the sun went down. Then the next day on our way home we went to Dead Horse Point. It is such an amazing view!! I know the pictures don't do it justice, but they are still fun to see! We had such a fun time with Brett & Michelle and Paige & Bryce, thanks for the fun memories :)!!

Balancing Rock

(there was a little lady from Germany taking this picture, and she couldn't speak English very well, she kept telling us to bend down? Who knows what she was trying to tell us? I really don't think we needed to bend down, but here we are anyway.)

Shay and Misty's Wedding

Just this last weekend we headed down to Moab with Michelle & Brett and Paige & Bryce for Shay & Misty's wedding. The scenery was beautiful and the weather was perfect! They were married outside of the Red Cliff Lodge. It was right on the Colorado River. Misty was absolutely beautiful and Shay was very handsome. It was so fun to get to share their special day with them!!

Memorial Day Weekend

Even though the weather was bad... we had a great Memorial Day weekend! My oldest sister came down from Logan with her kids. Hunter her second boy had a baseball tournament. We had a great time going to dinner and watching his games. He is definitely an athlete! (sad I didn't get a picture of him.) After the games we had some fun playing in Grannie and Pa's backyard! The girls love the swing, slide and trampoline. I think that they would play outside all day if I let them.

Lovin the swing!

Finally something she is afraid of... GRASS!

On Memorial Day we woke up to rain!! Which was not good because we were supposed to be running a 5k. Some of you may have seen my post about it. It was to earn money for our friend Katie and her cute girls. Her husband Ryan passed away two months ago. Well we decided rain or shine we needed to be there!! So we bundled up and headed out! It was crazy it rained up until the race started and then it stopped until the race ended. There was a great turn out, about 900 people showed up to run! It was pretty awesome to see so many people out supporting Katie. Well I ended up running... well walking the mile with Jamie Blaisdell, my dad and my girls. Levi ran the 5k with Tyler and my brother Matt. They all did really well. Levi came in first, his time was 24 mins. Which is awesome considering he hasn't been working out for quite some time ( you definitely have to sacrifice for school!). All things considered the weekend was great!!

Summer Time Is Here!!

Well we have been here in Utah for almost a month. We got to go swim at my cute sister in laws house. It was so fun to get the girls together and watch them be crazy together! I think that my girls were born with out any fear!! They are crazy, running and jumping and just loving it!!
I am loving the summer and the great weather!! Bring on the sunshine!

Mothers Day!

Mothers Day was really fun! Except that I was sick. I think that I was car sick from the drive home, and it lasted like three days! But I am doing well now! Levi was so great he took care of the girls all day and let me sleep! It was heaven! He got me a cute necklace with pictures of my cute girls and a shopping spree, which I took advantage of yesterday! It was so fun to get out with my sisters and shop! I am in love with being a mom and can't tell you how grateful I am for my beautiful girls. They are my little rays of sunshine everyday!! I am so grateful that my Heavenly Father in trusted them to me!
It was also fun to spend time with our moms as well. I can't tell you how grateful I am for my two moms and all my amazing sisters!! They are all such wonderful examples to me and my girls! I love them all so much! Happy Mothers Day (a little late)!

The past few weeks

So a lot has happened the past couple of weeks... We had some long days without Levi home (because of finals, but I am sure his days seemed much longer!) The girls and I survived... barely! We have some great friends who's husbands are also in Law School, so we really stuck together and had a bunch of activities that helped us to stay sane. I am so grateful for how hard Levi has worked and sacrificed for our family!! We are so proud of him for finishing his first year of Law School!!
All the guys! So happy that finals are over!!

Recipe swap with all the girls!

The girls and I heart attacked Levi's car and got him a bunch of goodies so that he could survive finals!

Fun at Chuckie Cheese!

Then as soon as finals finished we headed to Utah the next day! My parents flew up to help us get everything ready to move for the summer and help us drive home! We had a great visit with them and enjoyed showing them our new house, and eating at some yummy restaurants! We had a BBQ to celebrate finishing the first year! It was fun to get to see everyone one last time before heading out to Utah!! We were sad to leave all our friends for the summer, but happy to come to Utah to see our families!

We have been here in Utah now for 1 week and have been loving every minute of it. We arrived Saturday night late after a really LONG drive home! Audrey seemed to hate being in the car for the first 5 hours. Then we decided that she might be hot and so we took off her jacket and for the rest of the ride she was good! Abby on the other hand was a complete angel from start to finish! She sat and and watched her videos and played with her princess sticker book that Grannie Terry brought her. She was wonderful, which definitely made the trip easier!! My parents were so great they drove Levi's car back so that we could drive together. I know that there is no way we would have made it down here with out them!! Thanks so much mom and dad!!!

Austen got his call!!

So we have all been anxiously waiting for Austen ( Levi's little bro) to get his mission call! Well he got it and called us so that we could be a part of it when he opened it! We all gave our guesses on where we thought it would be, and I think that Fran ( Levi's mom) was the closest. She guesses somewhere Asian? He is going to CAMBODIA, PHNOM PENH. We were all completely shocked! He was hoping for a foreign call and I must say that is the most foreign I have ever heard of. The mission has only been open for 10 years! It is between Thailand and Vietnam. We are so proud and very excited for him to serve the Lord!!
Congrats Austen!! We love you!

Cell Phone Fun!!

Audrey with her new favorite toy... mom's cell phone! Well actually any ones cell phone! Well we knew when we had girls that it would eventually come to this, but we just didn't realize it would be this soon. So here's to having girls!!! We sure do love them and wouldn't trade them for anything!

Makeup Beauty

I put a mirror (eye level for Abby) up in Abby's room... and now this is all she does!! So I must say thank you to all those who gave her makeup for her birthday and Christmas!! It is sooo much fun and sooo messy! But hey it keeps her busy and she loves it. What more could you ask for! I think she might have a future in makeup design...what do you think?
